I have a trusty Cateye Velo 8 but want summat a bit fancier. I am ordering a Cateye V3 ( cadence + heartrate functions ).
My question, Can I transfer my mileage from old to new kit ? Ta for any responses.

You can usually input an odometer start value on cycle computers.

If you look up the manual on page 31(manual page not pdf page) it gives instructions for setting the total distance value.
