Depends on usage I guess. For me, seems about 18months-2years or so, a bit longer in the transmitter than the computer head unit.
You can tell the one in the head unit is going as the display gets fainter, the transmitter just dies.
The original Cordless 7 computer has the facility to enter a total mileage/odo reading when you're configuring, after changing the battery.
You have to re-enter wheelsize, km/m, set the clock, etc.
I don't know about Strada wireless but I'd expect that to be the same.
Re battery usage, are you really bothered ? It has auto power-off after it's been idle for 5 minutes, the display says 'sleep'.
D'you think you can get another few days over the 18months-2years by having it showing the clock rather than distance or ridetime ?
