By any chance does anyone else have this jersey. I had one delivered yesterday and tried it on but I'm not sure if it's a little big or not as its not as snug a fit as others in the rosso range

I checked out the sizing on the Castelli cafe charts and they are very specific about sizes so was confident I had it right

I've got a medium and it's pretty snug, although I can still get a thinnish base layer under it. I have loads of Castelli tops in a medium and they all fit me perfectly.

Thanks, I've decided to keep it as more of a touring jacket so I have the option of layering up if needed. I've also tried the Gabba XL and they are a completely different fit and I will never get into a large and be comfortable

Castelli gear fit is all down to the cut and the sizing matches throughout the range for what it's designed for.

What people get wrong is assume that all jerseys are cut the same and expect that for every garment.

If you want a loose fitting jersey then buy the more relaxed cut, if you want a tight fitting jersey then buy the aero style cut. The Gabba is the prime example of a proper race jersey, regularly worn in the peloton. There's no surprise that people need to go up 3 sizes if they expect to wear it like their Volo jersey, or similar.

Going up in sizing then has other issues, like the dimensions being wrong in other areas, like the arm length and circumference, etc.

Bit late as you've already decided on what your doing but I find my trasparente slightly smaller than other my other Castelli tops.
