Are they that good and are they worth the money? Reviews are all in favour and claim they keep you comfortable in temperatures down to zero depending on layering. I've got an under armour cold gear baselayer and mizuno merino baselayer so they should do the job but does a Gabba keep you dry inside and out as it claims

Is there an equivalent product as I can't find one? Everything seems to be softshell but lads in the club say they are "boil in the bag" and to avoid

I have 2 of them (1 long & 1 Short sleeve) and they are my most used tops in the winter

Yes, the Gabba is that good and worth every penny. However, there are now some very good cheaper alternatives - I'm also a big fan of the Vermarc Aqua Zero, which is very nearly as good and £50 cheaper.

I'd say that from the Rapha range, the Pro Team Softshell is more equivalent to a Gabba. And it is very good indeed. Still quite spendy though.

The Rapha Softshell Base Layer is another good option - has much of the weatherproof performance of the Gabba but you can wear it under your team colours/number if you're racing.
