carrera virtuoso rear wheel

hello all

im just wondering if anyody knows what rear wheel the carrera virtuoso uses?

i have the fully red one and need a new back wheel but cant find any names on it all it says is pro with a few shapes next to it

My Carrera from 1999 has "Alex 666x18 double wall rims". If that's any help to you.

as long as the size is that same ie 700 x 23 then the make wont matter for a replacement but if you can afford £80/90 invest in a new set of shimano r501 wheels which will be lighter than your current wheels http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=76730

I was just looking to change the rear to save penny's as have got to take 8 weeks of work because of the accident if I can't match then I will have to look at stretching the budget thanks for the recommendation

I got some very similar from wollyhatshop.com when my freehub died on a rim with a flat spot.
About £35 it cost for a rear wheel although the spokes were plain metal rather than black , lasted a year so far and seem fine .

the shimanos are semi decent winter wheels and will shave a couple of kilos of the weight of the bike

whats yer budget as yer brassick ;-)
