Carrera Altus C90

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and would appreciate your help/knowledge. I have salvaged a Carrera Altus C90 bike from a friends garage and it's in need of some TLC. I have searched the web for info on the bike and I only know it was distributed in the early 90s. I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction to obtain more info on the bike, especially the bike's specification.

Altus is none of the lowest of Shimanos groupsets. It'll work acceptably well if set up properly, but won't be particularly durable or slick to use.

Its one step up from what we call a BSO. Its hardly worth expending the brain power researching the models history, but if you absolutely must the boys on the Retrobikes website will be the ones to ask.
