I can officially state the Carrera bike seat I have is a form of torture! I would have blabbed every secret I had to get off that thing! I know your supposed to get used to them, but surely after around six hours in the saddle over three rides, I shouldn't still feel like it's trying to make its way slowly up into my stomach!! Whine over, anyone recommend a good saddle which isn't going to kill me! X

I'll get shot over this
Fern, Aldi is soon going to have a cycling event, on the 3rd of May I think (there's a few threads on the forum about it, or look on their web site) their saddle is the most comfy ever for my :girl: anatomy, get one, it's worth a try.
If you don't like it, it won't break the bank, it's about £ 15.00.

Charge spoons are rated, but i found them uncomfortable.
Specialized saddles are good, but you need to get your sit bones measured.

The selle Italian diva scored 10/10 in cycling active this month...your avatar and name suggests you are female. However it costs £60+

The charge ladle is the wsd verSion of the spoon

I use a bontrager ssr on both bikes, under £20, works for me

Also, perhaps some better shorts if you are using decathlon cheapies or similar

If you are new to cycling, I think you are looking at weeks to get used to a saddle not 6 hours. But if its a stock saddle it may not be very good. Also, to check it is a women's saddle isn't it...
