Never thought I would be asking about cargo bikes, but my daughter is looking, for her and our two grandsons.

She wants one for the school run and to get to her school where she teaches. Only a few miles and walkable, but a bike would be much easier.

So where do you look, which website or shops in SE London and into Kent are the goto places?

New or second hand.

Thanks

Depends on your means a bit.

The Dutch and Germans do them properly.
Identify a brand then worth a trip with a van to pick it up. Might need to be vague with the customs though.
Or the budget might ge off the scale

Watching to see what emerged.

Depends on your means a bit.
My daughter is probably expecting a low interest rate loan from the Bank of Mum & Dad!

Going overseas is a non starter.
Our SIL works a lot from home and he uses public transport when needed to get into his office at Canary Wharfe.
Our daughter used to teach at "Dave Bowies" old school in Bromley, but now has moved to a school much closer to where they live.
My daughter's salary goes almost entirely on childcare, so there is an attraction in going the cargo bike route and then they could ditch their car.

So I am exploring options.
Cheers

Sorry. You never know what the limits are on individuals means.

The child care thing is a total mess.
Spending most of what you earn on child care defeats the objective.

Then it's a more creative solution that is required.

As a serious shareholder in the bank of mum and dad you have my respect. I know we are lucky but seeing several 0s of your worth sunk into a child, now adult, I do rather wonder if I should have kept my trousers on.

Another part of my contribution to our sustainability took the money and moved to the southern hemisphere. Upset my wife but I'd have done the same.

Sincere good luck with the research.
