How would you measure the diameter of the front fork blades and rear seat stays?. Having difficulty fitting pair of SKS bluemels onto the hybrid. The big problem is trying to route them around the disc brakes.

The bluemels are exactly the same. When I tried fitting them this evening they were impossible to fit due to the position of the disc brakes on the wheels. I don't think no amount of bending or reshaping will get them to fit. Someone on another forum came up with the nifty fix of using P-clips on the forks and seat stays as alternative mounting points for the legs of the mudguard.

Looking for a set of mudguards for my Carerra subway 2 2014. Looking for the permanent kind with stays.

Any suggestions?

I picked this info a while ago so I can't remember where I got it from but I hope it's useful to you.

"If its a Carrera Subway 2. The only must haves are Tortek reflector mudguards and a Tortek 'disc' rack.......
The mudguards are easy to fit, you need to make a little plastic spacer on the forks, and use the brazed ons inside the rear stays at the back."

I don't know anymore I just saw it and saved it for my brother in case he ever wanted to try something like that.
