Just came across this feature today on RidewithGPS:

Can't believe that I incidentally managed to be just 0.1 miles short of the 4000. If I had known.

An interesting statistic.

Where do you find it on RWGPS?
In the app from Home screen
Bottom right corner click "More"
Click "My Profile"
You should see this:

I'm not sure how accurate this is. The information suggests my average ride is +/- 30 miles. That's simply wrong. I rarely ride less than 40, and usually 50+.

If I skim through the Rides section it shows any activity I've recorded - rides, walks, spin class, weights. I record spin and weights because I want the HR data. It seems in RWGPS this is considered a ride even though the distance is 0. Similar with walks, distances are very low.

I think the total miles ridden and recorded is reasonably accurate but that's all.

As I don't use RWGPS for stats it's never occurred to me different activities would have this influence.

It's as accurate as your records.

There's an activity type (I think it's relatively new) and I think the career stats includes only road cycling (maybe other kinds of cycling too). It doesn't include turbo, walking etc.

My career stats view definitely doesn't include walks, turbo sessions etc that I have in rwgps.
