Not sure - but I use a good quality car wax on mine with a UV filter just in case 
It also gives me a good excuse to rub and stroke the beautiful curves of my frame

Leave them out in the sun 24/7..no good for any paint, tyres etc... if you are not using it, keep it out of the sun..... If you are using it every day, regular washing polishing and wear take care of all that..... - just look after it.

I left mine in the sun for 3 hours the other day and it melted. Last time i buy some new fandangled fuss and bother nonsense without it being rigorously tested. pah
