I rang him in panic one Saturday evening having discovered a hairline crack in my frame. He didn't mind me calling and he assured me that what I as seeing was perfectly normal, a "witness" crack caused by the extremely thick brittle paint failing to comply with the flexibility of carbon and cracking. That was 2000 miles of worn out top-dressing, cattle grids and bunny hopped potholes ago and the crack is no worse today.
