Car hire

Booked about 3 weeks ago for next week (Mallorca). I go and do the advance check-in thingy and thought I'd just recheck current prices.. approx half price now.

So cancel and rebook, its now €116 vs €226 previously for 8 days.

Oddly the last time I booked car hire (Milan) it was cheap as chips (€30 for 4 days) and stayed cheap as chips.

I guess its all on supply and demand but quite odd.

Before someone advises e - yes I have an annual excess insurance policy

We had a hire car inc in our Jet2 holiday villa here in Lanza. Didn’t take it last year but glad we did this time . In future I think we will also take out an annual excess policy .
First time driving in the EU for me , before that it was in the USA . Have to say it’s been fine , road are great .
