A workmate is after a new bike and seen great discount, along with a further discount code, on the Cannondale SuperSix Evo Racing Edition. Anyone have one of these by any chance or seen any good reviews?

It comes with SRAM Force. There is also an Ultegra version in the very subtle bright green colour, as opposed to the Silver and Red of the Racing Edition.

Both same price, but the Racing one was more expensive to start with. The only differences I can see are in the wheels and tyres? Mavic Aksium S WTS vs FSA Energy on the Racing Edition.

Never heard of those FSA wheels tbh, but he might swap those out in time.

Any advice on the above welcome, as he only has a day or two before the additional discount expires.

Buy the one he prefers the look of. That would be my advice.

Well, yes. Both are good groupsets - the only difference is in how the hoods feel on your hands, and whether you prefer one type of shift over another. Force will be lighter though, if that matters...

No worries. Will get back to him with suggestions on test ride. He can ride the Ultegra, to test bike itself and pick a random other bike to test the Force out. Nice one guys.

Just brought one of these for £1250 from Tredz, its being delivered Thursday

The only difference between the SRAM version and Ultegra version (apart from colour and groupset) i can see is that the rear brake cable is internal on the SRAM Racing version

That sounds like a bargain to me.

Probably means that the two bikes you are looking at are from different model years.

That's the local retailer that I was watching, but you worked that out already, surely @jamin100?

My mate decided to wait for a bit. Missed a bargain!

I was tempted myself tbh! Decided to keep the Defy for the Winter and that the SuperSix would be too similar to the riding style of my Bianchi, so left it alone too.

I would like an Aero Road bike next ideally, so didn't want to blow n+1 agreement from the missus and miss something Aero when the time is right. Lol.
