I bought a Cannondale Saeco CAAD5 in 2010 (not sure when it was new - I bought it used) - I do not ride anymore - I was wondering if there was a market for it? So conflicted as I love the bike... maybe I should just paint it and use it in the city as my get around bike ... or should I break it down in parts and selling them?

I've seen one for sale for £300 so you may be able to get something around this figure.

Better selling whole, well used parts don't fetch much

There's a market for any decent second hand bike nowadays

Yup there's always a market for quality used bikes, and the reputation both enjoyed and deserved by CAAD bikes means you'll have no trouble finding it a new home.

@ColinJ has an older CAAD that IIRC may also be a 5, any thoughts Colin?
Well, I still think my CAAD 5 is a great bike but I don't know what the used value would be - a few hundred pounds at most, I would imagine, given that you can get new Cannondales for well under £1,000 - examples HERE. I actually paid over £500 for the frame and forks alone, but that was about 10 years ago. I was amazed when I saw how (relatively) cheap Cannondales are now.
