theres a bike shop in Reigate which does some nice Marin's maybe worth checking out as your not too far.

TBH i dont see the fascination with the Quick. it does nothing for me and the extra £££ doesnt give any noticeable different from a sub £600 decent hybrid... i think you should go out on some, ones i tested out recently compared a lot nice for a lot less.

Cheers. There are a few Marin retailers around, thanks for the tip on Reigate

I am just looking around at possible upgrades for the 2010 Sirrus Sport and the Quick is pretty  If you have any suggestions...

Just popped into Corridori in Epsom...they sell Specialized and Bianchi...no Bianchi flat bars, but I did get looking at a Via Nirone 7...lush in while/celeste!! Sales chap reckoned it would be an excellent addition to the collection! Maybe I should consider drops!

Oh dear. Popped into evans at waterloo. They had lots of hybrids including the cannondales...how very very dull they are compared to the pretty pretty bianchi and her gorgeous celeste and white paint job!! Sirrus may be relegated to hack bike. Anyone want to buy a barely used crosstrail sport?

Picking up this thread, I've got a Quick3 2011 on reserve at my LBS and I love the quirky looks and it certainly seemed quick enough for me. One can always slip on some 25mm slicks if one wanted to pick up the pace. The Quick 2's got a Tiagra groupset so proper roadie stuff, but they haven't got any. I think the 48/12 gear combo on the Quick 3 will be fine though.

As noted earlier in this thread, sometimes a bike feels "right" and the Cannondale was just perfick, I was actually rather surprised how instantly I knew it was the One.

Can't wait till next week ^_^

PS Sold my Felt road bike; yes, I know you all think I'm completely nuts for swapping from drops to flats but the drops really didn't do it for me.
