Can you convert any thru axle to quick release?

HI, I've bought a Vision SC 40 wheelset - foolishly assuming I could adapt it to quick release for my 2017 Cannondale Synapse. Problem is having spent money on a nice wheelset, I don't want to damage them or me or my bike.
In the past, I've converted a few wheels to qr using the official conversion kit from thru axle to 135.10 qr from the manufacturer.
So can you convert any thru axle to qr?

Yes you can , do you have access to a lathe or know someone who does. All you need is aluminium stock turned down, hole drilled and then cut a channel for an O ring , tight fit to ensure its not lost when removing the wheel. Had them made for a Mavic thro axle wheel to fit a QR dropout.
