Can Someone Tell Me Year of my Trace?

I just bought a Diamondback Trace from a local pawn shop. They had it for 250 but talked them into 175. I love it but I can't figure out the year. Maybe 2015 judging by color but not sure. Anyone know? DAP14 is stamped on the bottom. Yes, it's missing front brake.

It rides good just need to replace the brake which will probably mean replacing them both as Aqilas seem to be getting hard to find. I think some Avid BB7's would look good on it anyways.

I have BB7's on my flatbar bike, so,I can vouch for them.

That is a disc front wheel. There is no front brake on it.
