Hi everyone! I could really use some help. I was given this bike a few years ago and I can’t seem to find any info on it. I know it’s a Guru but that’s all I can see and if I look up the Juls ll that’s on the bike I get nothing. Any info on it would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to decide if I want to keep it or possibly sell it. I know it’s in rough shape, but the coupe times I did ride it it’s an amazing bike. Thank you for your help!!

It's a Guru New Steel, Juls II may just be the owners marking.

Guru went bust/bankrupt for the last time in Canada in 2015. The "New Steel" would have been around 500 Canadian dollars new.

If you like the bike and it's a good ride, then spending a little time getting it serviced and refreshed is likely very worthwhile - you get to keep the bike you like and it's cheaper as well.

It looks to be a bit of a mix of components, but the wheels are good quality and it's a steel frame so will last indefinitely, unfortunately I can't make out the specs of the other components from the pictures.

Looks decent, possibly a 2004 model.
Dedacciai tubing with carbon back end.
Interesting combo with quality steel and carbon, I used to have a Bianchi via Nirone, that was alloy frame but with carbon fork and rear stays like that. That rode really nicely, my mate has it now as it got replaced by a Infinito CV

I too have a Specialized with alloy frame, carbon forks and carbon seat stays and it is a fabulous ride.
