Don't want much from it. I'd like to see clock, speed, average speed, trip time, trip milage, cumulative milage anything else is a bonus.

Suggestions?

All bike computers do that! You might as well just call in at ALDI or LIDL and pick up the cheapest one you can find.

In fact, if you asked nicely I bet you someone on CycleChat would donate one to you. I would - I have two or three, but they all have bits missing or are broken.

To be honest - I was quite relieved when my last one broke! I started enjoying my cycling more when I wasn't looking at the numbers on the computer all the time.

When I really want to know what's what, I put my Garmin Etrex GPS on the bike. It's quite instructive to examine its tracklog after a ride. I can tell exactly where I was, when, and how fast I was going so I can see how quickly I climb key hills and even where I hit maxiumum speed on the descents.

I use a Raleigh branded wired computers, they are pretty cheap, easy to use, seem to last well and are available in a range from the very basic to the quite complicated. This is the same model as mine but I have it blue.
