Iv got a pair of aviators I forgot I had , and one of the lenses has a scuff on it with the result it's took a bit of the mirror coating off and it looks terrible when ur wearing them , any idea if it can be fixed cos they are a cracking fit , any ideas , buy another pair or have them refurbed if poss

You can buy new Rayban lenses, go to a good opticians and they will order them in for you.
My wife smashed a Rayban lense on holiday and we got them replaced. It was a third of the price of a new pair of glasses.

I used glasses direct to re-lense a pair of Oakley glasses (these are standard glasses not the cycling ones) - £104 including transitions lenses on ultra thin - about half the price the optician wanted.

I think they were about £60, new glasses were £175. .
Dont go to somewhere like "Sunglass Hut" all they want to do is sell you a new pair

Yup. Pleased as punch with the job done. The frames were mega expensive when I got them, so really wanted them re-used. £104 can't complain at all.

I sent off my old specs, with the 'original' prescription. Prescription sent back immediately, and glasses arrived within a week.

Ya most good independent opticians will be able to order you them, most won't stock as there are to many but delivery from Ray Ban is around 5 working days. Same applies with online retailers, if you find a Ray Ban stockiest call them as they might be able to order the lenses for you. If you need prescription sunglasses then it will be a case of posting them your sunglasses and getting them to change the lenses. Simon
