I say simply as in no flour, no eggs etc.
I have some fresh, skinless fillets. My plan is.......high heat, olive oil, 3-5 minutes each side.
When I google it everything seems to indicate I need flour or egg or milk with only one suggesting it can be done my way.
So..........

My planned gourmet meal is......fried fish, chips and white bread with butter
