sorry if this is the wrong forum, but question is as per title. If I am transporting bike in car, is it ok to lay it on its side or will there be a chance of fluid leaking. I assume it is a sealed system so won't leak?

Of course always make sure you lay it on the correct side, otherwise you may require my favourite tool more often.

Loch side.
I think you have your answer by now. There is a rider to the story though. If the lever is pumped whilst the bike is in a position on is side or even upside-down, the little hole in the handlebar reservoir could become uncovered from it's fluid supply and suck air in. This is pronounced if the wheel is removed and the caliper pistons can move a lot. A lot of movement is a lot of air sucking. That just sucks because then you have to bleed it.
