Can i paint the spokes nippels?

I have brass nipples, can I paint it with Montana spray or something like that? I'm talking just about the top part

Have you looked for anodised nipples in the colour you want?

I put green ones on one of my bikes, which I thought would be cool, but no one has commented.

A friend of mine has purple spoke nipples, but she didn't paint them, she bought them.
There are many choices of colours online.
