Can I Covert my Crud RoadRacers Mk1 to Mk2 ?

Crud seem to have stopped swapping Roadracer spares for stamps and are doing spare kits instead.

I lost the rear tail to my mk1's a few weeks ago and was wondering if I can convert my mk1's to mk2 by with the 'Mk2 nose+tail' kit?

Does anyone who had mk1's and now has mk2's know if the ends of main blade part are the same for both versions?

Yes. I have replaced the Mk1 tail with a Mk 2, and replaced the inadequate short front nose of the rear guard with the better Mk2 version that protects the front mech area. I didn't know they had stopped their excellent 'spares for stamps' - interesting.

Yes, can interchange Mk2 ends with Mk1 body. I have.

Ahh interesting they've stoped that... i needed to replace my broken main body of one of mine.. guess i might just have to buy a new one altogether now

Spares for stamps worked really well for me when I broke a blade. They sent parts really quickly and threw in a couple of extra screws & bands for good measure. Didn't know they'd stopped until reading this post...

I think you can just order the main blade for £6.50 - check out Buddha's link above. (IIRC it used to be 6 x large 1st class stamps (66p) = £3.96 - so a bit of an increase).
