Can I change to BB30?

I am in the process of slowly upgrading a few bits on my defy 4 and was wondering whether I could change my internal square tapered BB to BB30. Obviously I would need a new crankset but would like to know if ......
(A) my frame will take BB30 ?
And (B) would it cause a problem with my current 8 speed cassette if I put a new crankset on?

No, you can't. You can go from BB30 to other things, but not to BB30 from other things.
If you're going to upgrade things I'd start with wheels and tyres, personally.
Crankset would be near the bottom of the list.

^this. You can change to Hollowtech II though if you wanted to.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over BB30 anyway, it's far from the be all and end all, and FWIW I actually converted to HTII from BB30, go figure

Thanks @TheDoctor . At least that's answered my question. Tyres have been upgraded but wheels will have to wait until I have more ££££

Check this out.
HT2 uses outboard bearings and a wide-ish axle that's part of the chainset. The other crank goes on with 5mm bolts. I run some bikes with HT2, some with square-taper. TBH there's not much to chose between them.
