can I add a poll to an existing thread?

There is a way to do it: create a new thread with the poll data included (copy/repost your original first post but make sure you add the poll) - then PM me and I'll merge the old one into the new one which should "add" the poll.

I've had a slightly better idea - let's lock the existing thread, and point people to the new thread. That will save reading through ten pages of stuff. Sorry to mess you about.
