i want to know if it can be used to log walks also, i like to walk and often walk up mountains like snowdon etc. i have used my phone with endomondo before now but id prefer to use a gps, is there any reason why the edge wouldnt be suitable/ i know its a bike gps but im not really sure why it couldnt be used for walking

i havnt used garmin connect yet but on endomondo you can change the sport to walking or cycling etc, if i go for a walk and have mistakenly recorded it as a cycle i can change it on the computer after uploading, is this the same on connect does anyone know?

i have also noted that you can import rides/walks onto endo, id like to do this, is it possible to do from connect?
is the edge wireless for uploading rides etc? or do you have to use the usb cable
sorry for all the questions

I have used mine for lots of things.... including walking.

Another bonus is that you can download the files and using a suitable program Geotag your photos.

Basically adds a place to the photo file.

You can then plot your photos on a map, and never have that "Where was that taken?" moment again
