Can anyone recommend a tyre?

Hi all
I appreciate the market is more limited for a 27inch wheel, but have you come across any decent tyres? I’m after a tan wall (of course😀) little or no tread & mid range (ish). I’ve got a pair of Schwalbe Actives on there at the moment - plenty of life but a bit draggy I find, they’re 1 1/4 inch which I’d like to stick to. I’ve done the usual internet trawl but doesn’t seem to be much out there.

That’s a pretty conclusive endorsement for the Panaracers! I’ll have a proper look and if you ever consider selling a set biggs682 would you let me know? I’m in no tearing hurry, what I’ve got is fine but an upgrade at some point would be good. Thanks all for the replies, I completely missed these on my trawl!

For a modern tyre, they look correct on a vintage bike.

they‘re very slightly narrower that what I‘ve got at the moment (1 1/4) but I’d like to give a couple a try. Could you let me know the selling price and I’d guess we’d private message (not entirely sure how to go about that!) to sort all the details.
