Can anyone recommend a friendly cycling club in Liverpool

Hi all, was wondering if anyone can recommend a friendly, sociable cycling club in the Liverpool area. 2 names have come up. Liverpool century and the Liverpool mercury. need a club that tolerates non pro types, but not too shabby on the roads. dont like arrogant or pomposity, hence the friendly factor needed. all help and advice is appreciiated

Can't help on the specific question, but i think the key is to try a couple of rides with different clubs. Any club worth it's salt will let you ride out with them without putting pressure on you to join. That way you'll get to see what they're like.

I went for a ride with a club and after 3 weeks decided it wasn't for me. Am very happy with my current club, but i think you only find out by trying.
