I'm building up a well known manufacturer's frame with Campagnolo hydraulic disc brakes.
The front caliper is not mounting properly, it ceases to be parallel to the rotor when tightened. (wheel and rotor check out as fine).
The manufacturer says Campy cannot use a patent that Shimano owns for flat mount, so the spacing for mounting holes is different and I need to file the mounting holes on the caliper so it will fit. They claim this is a common problem/solution with most everyone's frames and that their fork is built to a Shimano/SRAM specification. I think their fork is off.
Has anyone ever hear of this? I didn't have to do it on previous Campy builds, can find no reference to this on the internet, etc.
Thanks!
