Thanks for that Cycleops , that looks very much like it , l will do a bit of hunting around for some more references. I've had it in my parts box for ages .

Found the evidence , five years ago l bought this old Fiorelli Coppi and with hindsight it would appear to have been blessed with a Victory/Triomphe group. I still have the downtube shifters ...not sure about the rear derailleur (keep searching). I still have the bike and for a steel machine from the 1980's it is a great bike to ride. Plus there is a tale to tell about one particular occasion when l was riding home, not sure if l should relate it
