I'm buying a new wheel set. Unfortunately the wheel set I fancy are not available in the uk with a shimano free hub.

I can only get campag.

So, am I right to assume that I can simply whip off the campag free hub and swap it with either e new 9 speed shimano...or perhaps even my old/current free hub.

I want to check that, before I press "add to basket", that I am not buying a set of wheels that I can't use.

Cheers

I'm happy to swap it myself but want to make sure there's no comparability issue that I don't know of .

Cheers

Think you need wheel set specific so if a Mavic wheel set you need Mavic shimano freehub , not just any old freehub .

What is the wheelset?
Not many that are "Campag only"
In fact I can't think of *any* where the cassette body can't be changed ....

HI there

Easton Cycling apparently changed distributor during the summer in the UK, so I think that the info that you have may be incorrect. I'd imagine it might have come down to someone not being fully au fait with the Easton range. I can't get Silverfish (UK)s website to load at present, but they are the new distributor and should now be able to give you accurate info. I suggest a call to them.
