Junior Walker and the Allstars
Does anyone what special tool I need to fasten/unfasten the clamps that attach these to the bars? It almost looks like some kind of star socket. Certainly no hex key fits them.

Torx T25.... helps to have a long thin one IME.
I once bought a set of complete set of 40+ dirt cheap screwdrivers (not separate bits, proper screwdrivers with handles) just because it included a T25 !

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Once you know it's a Torx socket, and where it is, it is relatively straightforward. Just loosen the rubber enough to feed the bit down into the socket, it doesn't have to be visible. I've just replaced my old shifters and the procedure was much easier than I thought it would be. The Bike Radar article was helpful, the Campag instruction sheet was not .....

It's a bit more complicated than that...
If it's the same Torx driver as is used to for a Rohloff we have one ...somewhere... in the garage. You're welcome to borrow it if I can find it - if the forecast rain comes tomorrow I'll be at home.

Thank you all. I should have recognised it, as I had a T25 tucked away on a multi tool. Job done now.

And I have to agree with the last part of that last sentence - the pictures are particularly unclear.
