Just signed up for the 200k. Route heads from Cambridge out to Huntingdon via St Ives and then returns back through St Neots. Got to be one of the flatest rides surely? I can't think of any hills particularly.

Well the first bits rather flat, but as the site only gives very vague hints to the route some of it could be far lumpier than you might think. Plenty of rolling hills to the West and South of St Neots.

Even if most of the ride is in the fens don't assume it will be easy, there is little shelter from the winds and no stretches that you can coast down. As I found out the other week on the Double Dutch audax ride up to Kings Lynn and Spalding a relentless pedal into a stiff breeze is hard work.

I had forgotten about this ride. I've now signed up for the Garboldisham Groveller that day so I won't be doing it.
