There is a new project that has started up by the New Social Art School whose objectives are to:
encourage cycling, improve the attitudes of other motorists towards cyclists, and hopefully improve the proficiency of cycling in Glasgow.
It is called No Mean Streets.
I have actually been approached by the project to take part in a documentary that they will be producing and will hopefully publicise at a later date.
In my mind this project has the right attitude and approach, but it needs more members and opinions to help drive it. Glasgow cyclists desperately need a strong voice to try and improve infrastructure, attitudes etc and I think this might be a good place to start.
So if your are from Glasgow, live nearby, or want to have a say, why not join and be part of the project.
