Calling all Burl owners. I'd like to have a look at a Burl.

Hi,

I'm working on what I would like to buy next and looking at the options - am wanting to create something that I will be excited about (probably in titanium), have to save for and want to keep and look after for some years. Having just spoken to Justin Burl and looked at a few photos I don't think they do the brushed finish justice - I certainly don't feel I've got an appreciation for it and am still liking a painted look. So I'm trying to find someone who would be willing to let me get a look at theirs in the flesh. I live in north Hampshire, regularly travel to parts of Surrey and Berkshire and for Christmas I will be in north Staffordshire and could easily do a bit of a detour. Am happy to go somewhat out of my way for what will obviously be an investment.

I don't know - I just looked at prices and they're less than I paid for my carbon frameset and way less than those beautiful custom Serottas at CycleFit in london. I'd have said less than £1000 for Ti or £~700 for steel is pretty competitive for a good quality custom build.
