Cable to hydraulic conversion

Found a broken Giant MTB in a skip with Shimano BR M485 hydralic brakes which seem to be working.
Is it a straight swap over for my old Shimano cable disk brakes?
Any tips or advice required?

What bike are you transferring them to?

Which mounts do the donor and recipient bikes have?

What parts do you have?

Calipers?
Brake levers?

Provided the mounts are the same, and you have the levers, hydraulic hoses and calipers, then yes.

If the mounts are different, you can get adapters.
