...the 'Reverse bar-end' types as used on TT bikes.
I'm considering putting one in the same position as a bar-end gear lever on normal drop bars (with the lever blade pointing forward). Why? To enable the operation of both brakes independently using one hand (I'm using a cable splitter at the mo'.) I'd probably have to cut the bar end down a bit as well.
Do the cables route through the bar end and under the bar tape (exiting via hole), or are they completely externally routed? Google and forum searches haven't turned up anything of use. Pictures would be nice!
