C4 Picasso owners out there...

Any C4 Pic owners out there who can recommend a 3 bike carrier to me please? Not having too much luck finding anything online that has any real world feedback.

You can't use most of the strap mounting rear carriers because of the plastic spoiler/brakelight mounting on the rear ( most of them are pretty poor anyway).

I've recently bought a set of Cruz roof bars and 4 bike carriers from roofbox.com. They were a "kit" available for about 100 quid.

The only issue when fitted to the built in rails on my C4 (grand Picasso) was that the U bolt fastenings were too long, and came pretty close to scratching the roof, careful positioning, and in a couple of places reversing the bolt so the heads were "up" cured the problem.

We've just returned from Cornwall (700+ mile round trip) with 4 bikes on the roof with no problems whatsoever.

As a second opinion I had cruz bars for my skoda vrs and they carried probably more weight than they should.......impressed however the fitting kit was car specific, wish I'd of bought thule as they can transfer from car to car.

Sorry to hijack - but any recommendations for a Ford S-MAX owner?

Ebay, you could find a steal.
S-max owner forums.......or if you're willing to pay that little extra thule are worth the extra money because the bar/fitting kits are transferable to other cars for when/if you change rather than forking out for a new set.

Do you have a towbar with a flange-mounted towball? If so I can recommend MaxRaxx products, their rear-mounted rack is superb.
