Hi

could anyone tell me if i could get 2 c2w agreements, i have had one out and am into it by 7 months with halfords (who i work for)

could i get one with a difrent company,

my LOC total was £980 so i know i could get another £20 LOC wich isnt worth anything at Halfords.

the reason im asking is that i am having loads of problems with my bike now and its starting to cost me a bit of money well i have done over 2000 miles on it.(boardman team fs)

and if i pay the full 25% at the end of the agreement can i go and get another one

There have been questions on this before. You'll need to read the terms and conditions of your companies scheme but I think most allow you to overlap 2 schemes.

I asked 'cyclescheme' who run the one my main employer use if i could start another with my other employer and they said no. It seems you can only have one agreement in force. I may try and at least start an application to ensure I get my voucher asap after current sheme finishes.
Not sure if this is the case with all schemes and would be interested if anyone else has tried to double up!

I have just started my second C2W contract - a cheeky 3 or 4 months before my first runs out (both £1k). There's no issue with the scheme - all gone through without a problem, it's just whether the HMRC object - but by the time the paperwork goes through and the first salary sacrifice is taken I think there'll only be 1 double payment.

According to the FAQs on the Halfords website it's at the discretion of your employer.

I've had 3 bikes in total now over about 3 years and the first 2 were only 6 months apart, the way it was explained to me is that you are allowed to have 1 bike for the winter and 1 for summer, but I suppose it depends on you employer

What problems? 2k miles a few things might need replacing through wear and tear.

Also, if its not 12 months old and you work for halfords, why the hell aren't they fixing it?

+1 only just reread the OP , you will need new chain, cassette, brake pads , wheels probably need retruing, cable slack, lube cables etc etc and thats just basic stuff that comes with running a bike.
Think of it as running a car , i use my bike for C2W and i reckon on spending £20 a month for either new bits or clothing etc , thats less than 1 weeks petrol so i am still saving over £80 a month by cycling .

I think CTC calculated it costs 12p/mi to run a bike and a fair chunk of that was clothing.
