My daughter wants a bike as she has outgrown hers. We cycle as a family when on holiday and she does the odd short cycles (sports centre etc ) on her own .. nothing serious so she does not need anything wonderful (and I have a budget!)
I found a few reasonable bikes second hand (Trek Fx 7.2) but she was picky with the colours / styles / and shine-y-ness! - Basically wants something that looks new and not uncoll to her friends
So .. E Bay has a nearly new I think GT NOMAD LTD 2007

I am comparing this to a carrera subway 1 from halfords which with a discount can be got new for about £143
Which bike is better?
