Buying a factory bike for parts - which one?

Have a steel frame, forks, bars and seatpost that I intend to make up into a 'new' road bike. I basically need a groupset and wheels and am facing the eternal 'buying a new groupset' problem - in that, buying one off the shelf is infinitely more expensive than it would be, comparatively, if I bought a full, off-the-shelf bike.

I'd like to kit it in SRAM Rival, ideally - which would cost me about £500 on its own. Stick in a £200-odd set of wheels and I'm looking at £700 something quid. I'd happily buy a whole bike, take the wheels and groupset and try to sell on the frame+other bits, assuming it made financial sense but ... here's the whole point of this ... I can't find one that suits. Any suggestions for SRAM kitted factory bikes? Ebay shows up a few but so far nothing that I have either won or that has been worth my while.

The other option is to go to 105/Ultegra, of which there are more options. Any ideas for factory bikes with these, that I could also take the wheels from?

Just not sure really - any thoughts? Or, alternatively, anyone selling a bike with a full SRAM grouset and a decent set of wheels for less than £700?

Have a look at Ribble - their winter/audax frame with SRAM falls right into your price range, and is a pretty decent bike in it's own right.

Loath though I am to suggest you brave their "challenging" take on customer service.....
