Buying a bike in France

I know some members live in France so I wondered if bikes are cheaper over the channel? It may be worth knowing next time I take my car over.

Cube bikes. Some things are cheaper like house rates for instance. When I had a property in Normandie, the rates were a fraction of what I pay here in Wales. Thanks for looking anyway.

Have a look on the French decathlon site, then compare with the UK one. Granted, you're limited to Decathlons range, but they're as keenly priced as you're likely to get.

Cube is German ? You can try German bike websites (I think Rose is one and they deliver to)

No I think they are more expensive in France (from the couple of shops I visited).

Cube bikes are almost identical in price throughout Europe I think. Most other bikes are more expensive in France IMO.

I'm a great fan of le bon coin. If you don't mind second hand, you can pick up some real bargains. You never know, you may find something right here.

www.troc-velo.com is probably the best site in France for buying second hand bikes and parts.

No idea of the current prices but IIRC the canyon bike were numerically the same in central Europe and the UK but one was XXX Euros and one was XXX pounds and the exchange rate at the time was quite good.
