Has anybody got any favoured routed around bury Lancashire area or any websites that may be useful, thanks in advance for any replies.

^ this, plus, when I go out Bury way I usually end up taking in Heywood, Rochdale, Littleborough, Hollingworth Lake, Todmorden, Hebden Bridge, Bacup, Rawtenstall, Owd Bets, Ramsbottom etc.

Not all in one ride mind you

Whitworth road is my favourite rd near bury...love climbing it.

Then you've got the ncn 6 which is pretty much doable on any bike.....except the part between bury and Radcliffe....it's a quagmire on all but the sunniest days.

Edgeworth to the grane rd is a good ride, hilly tho. Then you've got the national route 90 up totty rd to rammy.
