I'm trying to make a buisness Letterhead on a laptop (windows 10).I need to make one for a garage,my mechanic doesn't have one ! So could anyone give me a pointer ? Is it easy enough to do ? Basically a blank A4 page with details at the top.

Word has templates as I recall: I used one for my application letters.

Good morning,

I am not completely sure what you are asking. :-)

Depending upon the legal form of your business, Company, Partnership, Limited Liability Partnership, Sole Trader etc the exact requirements change and an Internet search may help.

If you are after a high quality letter head one that looks like it is printed by the same laser printer as the rest of the document doesn't cut it, but for a typical garage that doesn't seem relevant.

For example: If you are self employed and have a trading name you must also include your own name as well as the trading name.

Bye

Ian

Can you open this, doesn't have to be anything fancy, as long as if the insurance company ring your mate confirms he wrote it/it was writtn with his consent

If you have access to a scanner you can probably knock up a letterhead that would meet your friend's needs by scanning the business card and positioning the jpg in the upper right corner of a Microsoft Word page, then printing off a copy.

PM me the details if you want (taking note of @IanSmithCSE point) and I'll put one together for you tonight (I work in IT...).
