I had a urine test a few years back that was dangerously high in sugar, I did the fasting test and came back negative. I guess our bodies do weird things.

One of the last urine tests showed an excess of pancreatic juice, I was close to becoming diabetic gradually (during the next week) my figures went back to normal leaving the doctors baffled

Similar thing here, the results from a quick piddle in a pot were alarming. I have diabetes on both sides of my family so I did the fasting test and my results came through totally and utterly normal. Odd.

Good reason to avoid the GP! Despite being involved (loosely) in the health care business I'm not very good at looking after myself and tend to avoid appointments at all costs.
Then again I could miss something treatable and really screw things up.

That's been my technique until now, but being now fat and fifty, with a mum with heart probs and diabetes, a dad with prostrate probs and altziemers , and an uncle who died of prostrate cancer , swmbo and the rest of the women in my life have ganged up on me.
