+1 on both points. I have four of the C+ freebie buffs, as I managed not to take any on LonJOG I ended up buying a Buff (the genuine article) in Aviemore. Bigger, better quality material. The C+ ones are good, but there's a clear difference in quality. Any decent outdoor store should have something suitable.Many / most outdoor shop sell Buffs and Beanies, it's worth getting a proper Buff or decent quality beanie, with flat or no seams, etc, as cheap ones won't be as comfortable and cheaper material will not work as well.
