I use the genuine buffs all the time in the winter, they're a great bit of kit for cycling and walking. I use the plain ones and the part fleece ones when its really cold. The best one I have has a windproof hood and cost about £30.

Until you mentioned it, I'd never even heard of Airholes.

Yes, I have a buff...they are pretty good BUT if you wear it for long enough as a face mask, it gets soaked, then starts sticking to your mouth and restricts breathing. Double trouble if you also wear specs cos they start to steam up, too.

The Airhole seems like a much better idea. Might get one.

Never heard of Airhole before - and not too impressed by what I see.

Buff for me  - excellent for covering head, face, neck, wrists etc etc. ^_^

I found these cycle masks the other day http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-windproof-windtex-face-mask/ they arent reviewed as well as the dhb buffs though. I might go for a dhb buff when my winter beard becomes insufficient
