Budget tyres.

To go with my budget wheels anyone recommend some budget tyres - less than £15 each and 25mm, preferably folding.

Vittora Rubino at £13 seem best value tbh.

Any other suggestions??

Rubino's are fine, I find Zaffiro's to be slippy in the wet. I use Rubino's for commuting duty.

Another vote here for Zaffiro. Used them for years. The folding ones are more expensive than the rigid ones. Merlin cycles are doing rigid 28s for £8.

Got zaffiros on bike at moment. They do just fine.

Zaffiro wired and folding here, both fine no issues at all. Rubino are slightly better (more expensive)

You really can't go wrong with Rubinos

If using for commuting I would fit tyre liners (e.g. Zefal) to the tyres. I have gone 'years' without punctures when I fitted them.

If you have found one you are happy with, that fits your budget, why go with something else?

For the reason above, i found the Zaffiro slippery and indeed came off at slow speed on a greasy (after rain in January on a dry spell), heavily cambered corner close to home. I had little confidence in them after then and got rid fairly quickly for Rubino
